Can you deliver cut-to-size acrylic to Hobart and regional Tasmania?
Yes. Acrylic is what Hobart orders almost exclusively, and it is cut to your exact dimensions at our Gold Coast workshop and delivered anywhere in Tasmania.
I have not ordered cut-to-size acrylic before. What thickness do I need?
As a rough guide: 3mm suits small panels, picture glazing and light covers; 5mm to 6mm suits shelving, splashbacks and anything spanning a wider gap; 8mm and up suits load-bearing or large unsupported panels. Measure the opening rather than the old panel where you can, and tell us the exact size you want the finished piece to be.
Can I have the edges polished for a Hobart display or window panel?
Yes. Flame-polished edges are an option on acrylic and are worth adding wherever the edge will be visible, such as a display piece, a window insert or a tabletop. Add it in the calculator and the price updates.
Do you have a Hobart store?
No, and no Tasmanian premises at all. Your order is cut at our Gold Coast workshop and shipped to Hobart. Pickup is only possible at the Gold Coast, which is unlikely to help from Tasmania, so almost every Hobart order is delivered.
