Custom drip trays, made to size

Plastic Online makes spill trays and drip trays to order, sized to the space you have rather than the nearest stock size. Key in the width, depth, wall height and underlip and the live price updates as you go. Every tray is welded inside and out. Add an underlip and the walls are welded onto a base that extends past them; set it to 0 and a smaller tray is CNC-cut, V-grooved and bent from a single sheet. Need a plastic drip tray in HDPE (natural/white) or polypropylene (PP) that the calculator doesn't list? Send us your sizes through the quote form.

Material and colour

Live prices are for grey PVC, 4.5mm by default. For HDPE (natural/white) or polypropylene (PP), send us your sizes through the quote form.

Drip tray questions, answered

How is each drip tray put together?

Every tray is welded inside and out at each corner and seam. If you choose an underlip, the walls are welded on top of a base that extends past the walls by that amount. Set the underlip to 0 and the tray is usually CNC-cut, V-grooved and bent up from one sheet instead; a very large tray, or one with long sides, may be panel-welded onto its base even without an underlip. The preview shows which applies to yours.

Which plastics can I choose?

The calculator lists the materials, colours and thicknesses you can order online, starting with grey PVC, which welds cleanly for watertight seams, V-grooves and bends neatly, and stands up to moisture, chemicals and UV. We also make HDPE (natural/white) and polypropylene (PP) drip trays; for anything the calculator doesn't list, use the quote form and tell us which material you need.

Where are spill trays and drip trays used?

Common uses include cage drip trays for vet clinics, animal hospitals and pet boarding, wildlife rehabilitation, food preparation areas, catching drips and spills in workshops, HVAC condensate trays and battery containment trays.

How big can a tray be?

Every tray is made to the dimensions you enter, and the calculator tells you straight away if a tray is too big to make from one sheet. Need a large drip tray beyond that? Get in touch and we can discuss multi-piece fabrication.

What changes the price?

Five things: the tray size (a bigger tray uses more plastic), the wall height (taller walls take more material and work), the underlip (a base reaching further past the walls is larger), the plastic and its thickness, and the quantity (several of the same tray can bring the price per tray down). The live price accounts for all five.

Do you have a minimum order?

No. We make a single tray just as happily as a batch, and when you order more than one the live price shows the figure per tray as well.

How long do trays take?

Each tray is fabricated to order, typically within 3–5 business days of order confirmation depending on quantity and how busy the workshop is. If you need it sooner, say so in the quote request notes.
