Plain containment boxes, not powered battery boxes. These are made-to-size PVC, HDPE or polypropylene (PP) containment boxes. They are not 12 V camping or powered battery boxes: no terminals, sockets, isolators, fuses or wiring. The calculator lists what you can order online; anything else is a quote.

Need cable holes, vents, handles, dividers or a different lid? We don't add extras online. Your size, sheet and lid go with the request.
Request a quoteWhat you get
- Five CNC-cut panels, a base and four walls, welded together inside and outside.
- The plastic and thickness you choose from what the calculator lists.
- An optional lay-on lid in the same sheet and thickness, with a skirt welded on below the lid panel. Its opening is a little bigger than the outside of the box, so it drops on and lifts off.
What it isn't
- Not a 12 V, camping or powered battery box. No terminals, sockets, isolators, fuses or wiring.
- No cut-outs, vents, handles or dividers online. Request a quote for those.
- The lid isn't latched, sealed or lockable. It rests on the walls.
- No compliance claim. If your installation has to meet a standard, have your installer specify the box.
Not rated for lifting when full. Move the box empty and load it where it will sit. The walls and welds aren't designed to carry the weight of batteries or liquid while the box is being lifted.

What Our Customers Say

Battery box questions, answered
What exactly is this box?
A plain welded plastic box built to the size you enter, for housing or containing batteries and equipment. It's a containment box only, not a 12 V camping or powered battery box: there are no terminals, sockets, fuses, isolators or wiring.
Is it certified for battery installations?
No compliance claim is made for these boxes. If your installation must meet a standard, have your installer or engineer specify the box and send us their drawing to quote.
Do I measure inside or outside?
By default you enter the inside: wall to wall, and floor to rim. If the calculator shows an External option, use it when the box must fit a space; the outside height is the box body without the lid.
What does the lid look like?
A flat panel with a skirt welded underneath it. The skirt sits just outside the walls with a little clearance, so the lid drops on and lifts off. It doesn't latch, lock or seal.
PVC, HDPE or polypropylene?
PVC is stiff and the usual pick. HDPE shrugs off knocks. Polypropylene (PP) is lighter and copes with more heat. Which one resists a particular chemical depends on the chemical, so check before you choose; we can send data sheets.
Can I order handles, vents, cable holes or dividers?
Yes, through a quote. The Request a quote form carries your size, sheet and lid, so just tell us what to add.
Is the box rated for lifting when full?
No. The boxes have no handles and aren't rated for lifting when loaded. Put the box where it will live, then fill it.
