Description
A highly underrated thermoplastic which has very good chemical resistance combined with excellent mechanical properties. Minimal moisture absorption of o.o3% and a continuous working temperature range of — 160°C (copolymer) to + 100°C, with excursions up + 130°C makes this material an ideal candidate for many applications.
- Thermoformable
- Not naturally U.V. resistant and therefore requires stabilisers Natural grades (low transparency) approved for use in the food industry
- Can be printed after Corona Treating
- Not resistant to aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons. Avoid all possible contact with copper and manganese
- Very high fatigue strength
- Applications: bearings & bushings, pump components, tank liners

Use a soft cloth with mild soap and water
Avoid strong solvents like acetone, which can damage the surface
Resistant to most stains and chemicals, making cleaning simple in industrial environments
Is Polypropylene eco-friendly and recyclable?
Yes, Polypropylene is 100% recyclable and is identified by the recycling code #5. It can be:
Recycled into new products such as containers, automotive parts, and textiles
Environmentally friendly: Produces fewer emissions during production compared to some other plastics
We make buying cut to size polypropylene easy and convenient
Polypropylene sheet or the brand name which it’s more commonly known by, Corflute, comes in sheets resembling corrugated cardboard. Plastic ‘ribs’ sandwiched between plastic walls produce this lightweight but strong plastic material which is also known by the names ‘fluted poly’ and extruded twin wall plastic’. Polypropylene is a popular choice for signage and advertising banners due its printability and being weather resistant (UV resistant), lightweight, strong, and durable.
