We can source Acetal sheet in 1 mm to 60 mm thickness, available in black or white, with custom cutting provided to match your exact requirements.

Is Acetal easy to machine?

Yes. Acetal machines exceptionally well on CNC routers and mills. It produces clean edges, predictable chips, and maintains accuracy even on complex parts.

What applications is Acetal best suited for?

Common uses include gears, rollers, bushings, wear strips, bearings, manifolds, valves, precision spacers, and structural components where strength and tight tolerances are essential.

Is Acetal suitable for outdoor or chemical environments?

Black grades offer improved UV resistance, and Acetal performs well with fuels, oils, and many solvents. It’s not suitable for strong acids but handles most industrial environments with no issue.

It features natural lubricity, outstanding surface hardness, and a low coefficient of friction, making it ideal for precision parts requiring durability and wear resistance. Acetal exhibits high dielectric strength, exceptional resistance to solvents, and very low moisture absorption, ensuring stable performance even in wet environments. With a wide operating temperature range of -45°C to +100°C, Acetal is suitable for demanding applications across various industries.

Spoke to someone named Kip or kit this morning she was very rude and blunt,
We have an urgent requirement for Teflon sheet and she scoffed at me when I said we needed it urgently, and just said we are too busy to do that.
Very unprofessional
When owners holland plastic read this comment just be aware our order would have been in excess of $20k
we were happy to pay extra in overtime rates or overnight freight.
I would hate to have this person completing sales for my company especially when we have quite a large order needing sorted
